OUR MISSION

On the 25th of August 2008, 17 year old Vlad Danciu was the victim of a terrible road accident while returning from Mombasa to Nairobi. Although he survived the crash, Vlad died of his sustained injuries at the Mtito Andei dispensary a couple hours later. He died while waiting for appropriate medical assistance. Vlad left behind grieving friends and family who are determined to ensure future victims of the perilous Mombasa-Nairobi motorway get a chance to survive.

 

The Vlad Danciu Memorial Foundation is dedicated towards preventing accidents in Kenya by all means. We are committed to putting in place first aid respondent ambulances and trauma facilities starting with Nairobi – Mombasa motorway.
